We hope to see you soon at Calvary! Here is everything you need to know to plan your first visit with us!
WELCOME TO CALVARY
Selah at Calvary in July
As Calvary is an intergenerational university church, summers provide us with a unique opportunity to come together as one family in worship at 10 AM during the month of July. This will give our leadership a time to be refreshed, refilled and renewed for when things pick back up in August. Stop by any time after 9 for free coffee and donuts under the big white tent outside! Childcare for ages 5 and under will be available in our Family Life Center Building during Selah.
FAQS ABOUT YOUR FIRST VISIT
WHAT WILL THE EXPERIENCE BE LIKE?
We offer three service opportunities at Calvary. Each service lasts an hour.
At 8:30 AM we have a traditional service which includes traditional hymns and a full choir.
At 9:45 and 11:00 AM we have contemporary services which are led by our worship leaders along with a live band.
The teaching is the same in all three services. You can expect Pastor Tim to teach a scripture-based message with a real-life takeaway that will both challenge and encourage you as you apply it to your life.
HOW EARLY SHOULD I GET THERE?
Plan on arriving to the church campus at least 15 minutes before your service or small group starts. This will give you time to park and check your kids in if needed.
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
There are three parking lots located directly around our church buildings on Bryant Drive and 12th Avenue. First-time guests should look for the spots marked with the yellow First-Time Guest signs in the North and West Parking Lots. We also have additional remote parking available by Bryant-Denny Stadium. Look for the Calvary Additional Parking signs. Shuttles are available to bring you right to the church should you choose to park by the stadium. (Please note we do not utilize remote parking during June and July when many of our University students are not in town.)
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We want you to feel comfortable. You will find everything from jeans and t-shirts to suits at Calvary on a Sunday morning. Don’t worry about what you wear as you’ll never feel out of place if you come dressed casually to Calvary!
HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED IN A SMALL GROUP?
