The Well Leadership

Dear Leadership Team Applicant,

Thanks for your interest and desire to serve on The Well Leadership Team. God is doing an amazing work through The Well right now, and we are excited you want to be a part of it!

As a ministry, we believe God has given us an extraordinary opportunity to impact the lives of college students by helping them engage Christ, build community, and ultimately reach the world. If you are selected for the 2018-2019 Leadership Team, you will be a part of a small, but passionate, group of students who desire to bring this to life as we connect college students to the intergenerational church, specifically here at Calvary Baptist Church.

The heart of our leadership team is to grow men and women who will faithfully lead in this generation. Make no mistake: this is a leadership team; not a volunteer team, and we believe this with everything in us. We aren’t looking for people who want to join a social club or add something to their resume. We are not looking for people who settle for complacency or hope to do whatever is necessary to get by. We are looking for students who, at the core of their being, want to be a part of seeing lives changed right here in Tuscaloosa, AL. You can expect to work hard — reaching a generation is hard, but we believe it is a privilege and an honor to get to be a part of a team assembled by our unstoppable God to achieve the purposes He has for us during the 2018-2019 school year.

If this is you: we promise that we will do everything in our power to help you discover, develop, and use the gifts and passions God has uniquely given to you. We promise to let you dream, but more than that, we promise to help you bring your dreams to life. We promise to help you grow in your faith through an adult team committed to mentor, disciple, and challenge you regularly. In the end, we pray this leadership team experience would play a small, yet pivotal role, in your life as God prepares you to lead in whatever area of life He has for you.

Grace and peace,

The Well Staff Team
