At Calvary Kids, we are passionate about leading tiny disciples to grow in their faith and love for Jesus.

Sunday Mornings

Every Sunday, we have Small Groups and Kids Worship at Calvary Kids. Small Groups are where kids learn about Jesus, make friends, and have fun in an engaging small group setting. Kids Worship is a high-energy worship experience with songs, games, and a Bible lesson taught by our amazing Kids Ministry staff! Each hour is unique, so parents can attend a small group or serve during one hour and worship during the other. All kids check in at the Family Life Center (FLC) lobby.

Wednesday Nights

Kids engage in fun, faith-filled learning upstairs in Room 320.

When you Arrive

Most families enter through the Family Life Center entrance from the South parking lot (12th Avenue, away from Bryant-Denny Stadium). On Sundays, look for the Calvary Kids flag to guide you to the right doors.

From the moment you arrive, friendly faces will be there to welcome you and help you find your way!

Your first stop is the first-time check-in area, where we’ll take a moment to get to know you and your child. We’ll ask about allergies, preferred names, and contact information to ensure we serve your family well. If it’s your first visit, our team will walk you through the check-in process, help you find the right room, and even have a special welcome giftfor your child!

For security, your child will receive a name tag with a unique security number, and you’ll receive a Parent Pick-up Tag with the same number, which you’ll need at pickup. Once classes begin, our doors are locked to ensure a safe and secure environment for all children.

All of our adult volunteers are background-checked and wear a name tag similar to the one your child receives. If you have any questions throughout the morning, just ask—we’re happy to help!

If you are Needed
Please keep your cell phone with you on vibrate during the service. If your child needs you, a member of our Calvary Kids team will send you a text.
If it’s your first time, be sure to provide the cell phone number you have with you when checking in at Kids Check-Inso we can reach you if needed.
Parent Pick-Up
When you check in, your child will receive a name tag with a unique security number, and you’ll get a Parent Pick-up Tag with the same number. For your child’s safety, this tag must be shown at pickup—only those with the matching tag will be allowed to pick up your child. Be sure to keep it handy!
The Ride Home

We encourage parents to keep the conversation going on the ride home! A great way to connect is by asking your child these two simple questions:

  1. Did you have fun?
  2. What did you learn?

Our goal is for your child to have a joyful experience with a biblical lesson every week!

Want to dive deeper into what your child is learning? We’d love to connect with you! Feel free to reach out to our Kids Pastor, Joey Rolen at joey@calvarytuscaloosa.org or our Kids Associate, Sami Kate Kickert at samikate@calvarytuscaloosa.org.
